We’re talking about the best of the best. The spots that only pop stars and celebrities get to see. And, of course, the spots that worldly, knowledgeable nomads go.
That’s you.
Here are the top 5 spots in Dubai that you do not want to miss.
Deira – Gold Souk
On the northern side of Deira Creek sits the Gold Souk, otherwise known as “City of Gold.” While some are familiar with this gold mecca, it certainly has earned its fair share for reasons to visit.
Many of the shops features thousands of gold pieces. The shop owners will often barter and haggle for pricing, so make sure to negotiate well.
Some view this area as “gaudy” due to the extremely high volume of gold, making it the perfect place to feel wealthy and royal.
Atlantis – The Palm Resort
his resort doesn’t need a lot of explanation to prove that this is one of the coolest resorts in the city.
The Atlantis is a private resort, built on-top of and below the water of the Persian Gulf on an artificial island. It features some of the most luxurious accommodations in Dubai and two of the incredible night clubs, including the N’Dulge and Nasimi.
What sets it over the top is the Presidential Suite that sits in the bridge between the two towers. The suite, let’s just say, surely fits that of the rich of famous.
This is a must-see destination when in Dubai.
Cavalli Club – Dubai
While the nightlife at the Atlantis resort is a great place to dip your toes into the nightlife, the Cavalli Club sets it over-the-top.
Big-name artists frequent the club and show the people of Dubai how to party. This hot spot is known for seeing many celebrities come through on a regular basis and features some of the best drinks in Dubai.
While at the Cavalli Club, the signature drinks include the Cristal and the homemade specialty, the Cavalli – A spirit featuring vanilla vodka and schnapps with a twist of Cointreau and orange.
The music is loud. The drinks are great. And the dancing is fun. What more is there to like?
Top of the Sky – Burj Khalifa
This tower is the tallest freestanding structure in the world at more than 800 meters tall. That’s more than double the height of the Empire State Building in NYC.
Near the very top sits the Top of the Sky Observation area, with 360-dgree views of Dubai below. It also features an outdoor observation deck that is remarkable, to say the least.
Imagine this – getting the entire observation area rented out for you and your friends to host a private event. Sounds pretty epic, right?
Bastakia (Old Dubai)
The Bastakia Quarter region is home to the oldest, most picturesque heritage sites of Dubai. The narrow streets and Persian-built buildings make this one quintessential site to wander.
The area boasts many buildings that have been restored into small shops and highlight a relaxed, pure Dubai atmosphere.
One other way to get off the streets is to take a private boat ride on the Dubai Creek around Bastakia and the Bur Dubai districts. This will get you away from some of the touristy streets while still getting to enjoy the beautiful region.
If you’re looking for the best, most scenic spots in the entire city, then a trip to Dubai is a trip for you. With great scenery, ultimate relaxation, exciting nightlife and the most extravagant shopping experiences your heart could desire, Dubai is the premiere location for your next fun-filled adventure.
